EVERGREEN Team

Miss Katie

Co-Owner, Manager and Montessori Teacher

Hi, my name is Katie, I received my Higher Diploma in Arts in Early Years Montessori Education in 2016 from St. Nicholas Montessori College Ireland where I met Sophie! Before this I graduated from UCD with a honours degree in Sociology and Social Policy.  Working as an SNA inspired me to pursue a career in Montessori. I have over 8 years experience working in various childcare settings with all age groups.  I’m a firm believer in the hands on approach of Montessori and I believe this has a very positive influence on children’s learning during these vital early years.

I have always been passionate about early years education. I feel greatly privileged to be able to work with children during a period, which I believe is so crucial to their future lives. I am excited for this new chapter and I can’t wait to provide a stimulating, fun and above all happy environment for the children attending Evergreen!

Miss Sophie

Co-Owner, Manager and Montessori Teacher

Hi I’m Sophie, a saint Nicholas trained teacher. Childcare is always something I was passionate about and something I wanted to do from a young age. Having began my own education in Montessori it has been instilled in me since a young age. I completed an honours degree in Food Innovation in the Dublin Institute of Technology in June 2014.

Soon after, in September 2014 I began studying at St. Nicholas Montessori College.
I have gained invaluable experience working along side brilliant teachers in Pembroke Montessori for 8 years.

I am committed to ensuring that all children in our care feel like Evergreen is their second home, that they enjoy coming through our doors each day and that they are leaving feeling confident and fulfilled. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming your little ones into Evergreen.
